Week 19 Of The £1 A Day Challenge

Week 19 Of The £1 A Day Challenge

Week 19: I know this week seems a little similar to last week but i’m just documenting my journey to financial freedom as honestly as possible.

Day 127: Start Of Week 19

To start off week 19 of the £1 a day challenge, I didn’t have a lot of time today. I had a long day at work, then had family round in the evening.

I knew at the very least, I still needed to complete the goal of making £1 online. As it’s important to keep the momentum going. To keep me in the mindset of thinking how to make money online.

So, once I got a spare moment, I logged onto Swagbucks to complete surveys to pass the goal. After around an hour, I had completed 4 surveys to earn 129 SB’s (£1.01).

Day 128: Editing Nightmare

I practically didn’t stop working all day today. I got up at 5 am to drive to do some recordings for next week’s YouTube videos. Then I had to work my job till 5 pm.

After work, I then spent the next hour to complete my £1 goal. Once again, I did this by using surveys on Swagbucks.

Then, I worked on editing my week 18 update of this challenge on YouTube. If you remember from last week, I am now using a new editing software, DaVinci resolve. It’s great as it allows me to add so much more to my videos and i’m super pleased with the way the latest videos have turned out.

However, it is taking me time to get used to. At one point, I had nearly finished before realising, i’d missed a crucial point out. So whilst trying to edit this in, I somehow managed to screw the whole next 3 minutes of the video up (a bit like father ted and the car!!). So it took a couple of hours to fix this, then as I was exporting the video I decided to delete the images and video clips used in this video.

DON’T DO THIS!!

The video then failed to export and I had to work out how to undelete these clips as they were still needed to complete the edit. This whole process was a nightmare and must’ve taken at least 7 hours to complete. But by 2 am, I had finally uploaded the week 18 update.

Be sure to check this video out and let me know what you think. I’d hate for all that effort to go to waste.

Day 129: Surveys

Nothing exciting today. I logged onto Swagbucks to earn 128 SB’s (£1.00) in around 45 minutes or so. Once again, this was with using surveys.

Day 130: Free Trial

Most of my survey attempts got declined today. In the end I had to go for a free trial in the discover section to ensure I passed my goal today. This paid 250 Swagbucks. Hopefully this goes through, as sometimes you need to stay subscribed for the first month for it to work. I’ll need to cancel before then to make this move profitable.

Day 131: Improving on YouTube

It is Sunday again today so surveys were less frequent today. This made completing the £1 a day challenge difficult today. However, I pushed through to complete a few poor paying surveys throughout the day to finally make 129 SB’s (£1.01) by 4 pm.

Alongside this today, I also managed to edit and post a new YouTube video. I feel like I’m starting to get better at these and it’s really motivating for me to see my content improving with each video.

Being able to make good content is useful to any business, so I see great use in putting a lot of effort into this right now. Whilst I don’t have many followers, this is my time to really progress the service I can provide. To be a better content creator from week 19 rather than week 50 when it will really matter!!

Day 132: The early bird catches the good surveys…

I got up early today in hopes of getting my daily goal out of the way before work. Fortunately, there were plenty of surveys on offer. I completed 2 nicely paid surveys in a row this morning to earn 143 SB’s (£1.12) for no longer than an hour’s worth of work.

This left me with enough time to complete yet another YouTube video. I’m enjoying working on my creative side here, to see how I can make each video more enjoyable.

If you’d like to see my progress here, you can check out the Money Your Concern YouTube channel. It would be great to get your feedback on what you think will make for a better viewer experience.

Day 133: Busy day To End Week 19

Just another busy day of work. I then came home to complete surveys to pass the £1 goal. This took me around 70 minutes to complete 4 surveys to earn 132 SB’s (£1.03).

So that’s all I have for week 19…

I know this week seems a little similar to last week but i’m just documenting my journey to financial freedom as honestly as possible.

Right now, work is boring, busy and draining. I come home to get my £1 goal out the way then I work on what I can to progress my chances of making passive income online. Right now my focus for this is to improve the Money Your Concern presence on YouTube.

This will not only bring people into the £1 a day challenge environment for me to help but also there’s a chance to monetise this down the line and make passive income too.

So this is how what I am currently doing is applicable to you if you want to progress your own online income. Find something you are passionate about and start creating content. Either, in a blog, podcast or in video format on YouTube. If you stay consistent and show your passion for what you do, eventually you will build a following. Then, this brings about many different monetisation possibilities.

So thank you for watching…

another week of my progress. I hope you feel inspired to take action in your own financial life and make money, your concern. Be sure to keep up with the blog section of this website to see each weekly update every Wednesday. This will give you motivation and the latest tips I find to help reach financial freedom faster.
