Learning Search Engine Optimisation: Day 27

Learning Search Engine Optimisation: Day 27

Today I have made even more great progress towards getting my website running. I focused on typing up a few posts in preparation for tomorrow where I will Make it live. Where hopefully I can get the site up and running. I’m not the best writer I know but I think I’ll get better with time.

Search Engine Optimisation:

Once the posts were written, I was opened to a realm of online business in which I have only touched on before. Search Engine Optimisation (or SEO). This is a way of writing in a way that google will pick up key words to compare your content against your competitors for a certain search phrase.

The better your content is optimised, the higher ranked each page will be and the more traffic you will get to your site. So it is of quite high importance to consider when running a website.

I hope to give you more detail on this subject once I learn more but for now I need to learn for myself. Luckily, there’s a few plug-ins which you can use on your website for help. The one I have been using is YOAST. It is super handy and outlines any floors in your writing and tells you how to correct it.

£1 a Day Challenge Activity:

Anyway, so as you can imagine, I didn’t have much time left at the end of the day to complete today’s challenge. Typically, this had to be one of the days where Swagbucks was to become a pain in the a** again. I tried for at least 6 surveys to be unfortunately refused for them all. This left me no option but to browse the discover section again…

I found a deal where for a £1 sign up for a month trial paid 300 SB’s. This tactic gives me a £1.34 profit ((300-128)x0.78). The only trouble is that I must remember to cancel the subscription before next month or I will be charged much more.

So along with the search rewards I earned earlier, today’s earnings were £1.74.

Thank you for checking out highlight, Day 27 of my £1 a day challenge. It seems in order to be successful online, you must have a good outreach to many customers. This is why search engine optimisation is so important. Unfortunately I’ve only got to grips of the basics of this at the moment so will need to learn a lot more before i feel comfortable at giving specific tips.

However, what I can do is point you towards Yoast.com. There is plenty of information on there about SEO and how it works. The plug-in i’m using is also very useful and it makes the writing process more fun. I quite enjoy having a tangible aspect of crossing defects in my writing off as I work on improving each post.

Thank you for reading. Talk soon.

Gratitude is a quality similar to electricity: it must be produced and discharged and used up in order to exist at all.
