My Amazon Affiliate Focus: Week 28

My Amazon Affiliate Focus: Week 28

Week 28: So this week I’ve really decided to put some focus into getting some commissions from the affiliate links I post out.

Day 190: What’s in store for week 28?

Welcome to week 28 of the £1 a day challenge. This is where I share my journey of trying to escape the rat race and achieve a life of financial freedom. All from the starting steps of making at least £1 a day online, with no excuses.

So this week I really intend to progress my affiliate marketing standpoint online. I have a few book reviews with amazon affiliate links on this website, yet they have not got any clicks so far. So this week I intend to provide more valuable content, which will link people to products I think will be of use to the reader. Stay tuned with this post to see where I go with that, this week.

However, today, I started the recording and editing of the week 27 update. I add something special to this which I think will give you some perspective as to how I intend to use this challenge to achieve financial freedom. This should be out for tomorrow.

Other than this, I still needed to make £1 online today. To do this I logged onto a site called Swagbucks to complete surveys for money.

After around an hour working on this, I had earned 180 Swagbucks points (£1.40) to pass today’s goal.

Day 191: Making Passive Income With Dividends

Today I finished the editing for last week’s video update. As not too much happened in terms of progress, I thought I’d add something useful to the video.

In this video, I took the opportunity to discuss how I use dividend income to make passive income alongside this challenge. I explain how I intend to use my extra income to invest and increase this income further by compounding my dividend income. You can check out the video here…

I hope you find it useful.

Other than that, all I had time for was to complete today’s £1 a day challenge. Again I used Swagbucks. After 2 completed surveys (and a few declined ones), I had made 128 SB’s (£1.00).

Day 192: No Time…

Along with work, I didn’t have much time today. All I managed to accomplish was to make £1 on Swagbucks. Again, this was achieved through completing surveys.

Day 193: Affiliate Preparations

Today, I finally got round to doing what I had promised for this week. I planned out scripts for reviews for some great business and investing books I have read.

I tend to write out an outline of what I want to say, then I write it up on my website with an amazon affiliate link at the end. There’s a few reviews out so far. If you like, you can check them out in the Learn More and Further learning sections on this website…

Each one tends to take around 2-3 hours to plan, write and edit.

I’ll let you know these new book recommendations when they are completed, soon!!

Along with all this and some family time today, I did make sure I passed today’s £1 Goal.

You guessed it again!! Swagbucks.

It’s boring I know but it is tying me over until I can grow the other streams of online income.

Today’s work on Swagbucks took no more than an hour of completing surveys. This earned me 128 SB’s (£1.00)

Day 194: Creating More Affiliate Links

I used today to write up the book reviews I had planned out yesterday. These will go live over the next 3 days. Be sure to check them out on this website.

Particularly, If you are looking for some business inspiration, definitely see what I have to say about Tim Ferriss’s ‘Tribe Of Mentors’. There’s a short piece from over 130 of the most successful people in their field offering advice that helped them reach the top.

If you are interested in the stock market, I also loved Jim Slater’s book ‘The Zulu Principle’. I read this about a month ago and is probably my favourite investment read to date. Check this out for UK specific examples and a definitive list of what a good stock is to look out for.

Ofcourse, you can check out all the other business and investing books I recommend in the Further Learning and Learn More sections of the Money Your Concern website.

No affiliate commissions are in today though. So I once again used Swagbucks to complete surveys to earn 130 SB’s (£1.01).

Day 195: Swagbucks

I did not achieve much today. Along with my job, all I achieved was to complete today’s £1 a day challenge. 45 minutes on Swagbucks today saw me earn 156 SB’s (£1.22).

Day 196: Editing Book Reviews

Today I finished editing the 3 book reviews I had written up. By the time you read this, you should be able to check them out in the Learn More and Further learning sections. I’ve also been thinking up new ways I can add affiliate links to make sure I make the 3 affiliate commissions before time is up.

Then, obviously to finish off the week, I had to make my £1 online with Swagbucks. Once again, I completed surveys and earned a couple of search rewards to make 129 SB’s (£1.01) within 1 hour.

So that’s week 28..

So this week I’ve really decided to put some focus into getting some commissions from the affiliate links I post out. If I don’t make 3 commissions in 2 months now, my account will be classed as inactive and will be deleted.

I think you can just make a new one but I don’t want to let this happen!!

So stay tuned with Money Your Concern over the next month or so. Either through this Blog page or on the Money Your Concern YouTube channel. You’ll learn everything I learn about affiliate marketing and getting more commissions. I hope my experiences in this learning process will really help you to know exactly what to do when you take up this £1 a day challenge and want to make passive income online via affiliate marketing.

Let us know in the comments if you plan to take up this £1 a day challenge, where we can all help each other to reach our financial goals.

If you’d like to begin the challenge with Swagbucks, like me, use my Referral link where you will earn a 500 SB bonus if you reach 500 SB points within the first 30 days. (Or 300 SB’s if you see this at another time).

Thanks for reading and stay tuned to see where I go next with this affiliate marketing malarkey…

Cheers,

Harry
