Week 13: To grow a brand organically, this takes time. However, I know it is important that I stick with it regardless if there’s any interest to begin with…
Day 85: Another Casino Bonus Offer
This was a nice way to start off week 13 of the £1 a day challenge. Today, I found another casino offer to quickly complete today’s challenge. From this offer, I received 1500 SB’s (£11.70). Although I lost £3 from my initial £10 deposit, making small bets on roulette until my £10 wager requirement was up. Including a Swagbucks search reward and a couple of failed survey attempts, today’s earnings were £8.75 for around 30 minutes of effort.
The rest of the evening, I spent editing the week 12 £1 a day challenge update and finishing off the latest YouTube video. You can check out the 2nd post, ‘£1 A Day Challenge Introduction’ here.
Day 86: Swagbucks
After work today I logged straight onto Swagbucks to get today’s challenge done. Unfortunately there weren’t many well paying surveys on offer and of what there were, I got declined by most of them. So throughout the evening, I had to keep flicking back and forth to my Swagbucks account in order to get my £1 goal accomplished. Eventually, by the end of the day I had earned 128 SB’s (£1.00) for around 75 minutes of work.
Day 87: Another YouTube Upload
Today, my £1 a day goal went fairly easily. I completed this month’s Swago event, where I had to do various tasks including simply visiting shop websites. This rewarded me with 50 SB’s. Afterwards, all I had to do was complete one 20 minute survey and I had passed today’s goal. Along with a couple of search rewards, today’s earnings were 152 SB’s (£1.19) for around 30 minutes of effort.
Afterwards, I finished editing and uploaded my next YouTube video. You can see the latest post ‘£1 A Day Challenge: 1st Month Progress’ here.
Day 88: Video Roundup
Throughout today, I managed to find some nice paying surveys. Within one hours worth of effort, today I earned 211 SB’s (£1.65).
The rest of the day I worked on tidying up some aspects of the website. I also worked on completing 3 vital posts for the Video Round up section of the Money Your Concern website. By the time you read this, the video roundup section should now include the details of fully tracking my £1 a day challenge progress via YouTube.
Day 89: Casino Rewards
I found another casino offer today. Again, I use my previous strategy of wagering the required amount, on lots of small bets on one colour on the roulette table. I was lucky this time, and made £2 profit by the end of it. So along with the £11.25 from the 1500 SB reward and a couple of search rewards, today I earned £13.45 for around 30 minutes of work. Although, the casino reward is yet to come through, so hopefully it shows up soon…
Day 90: Time To Improve My Video Content
Although my YouTube channel hasn’t exactly taken off yet, with 3 subscribers… But this was to be expected. To grow a brand organically this takes time. However, I know it is important that I stick with it regardless if there’s any interest to begin with. So I plan to really work on creating a fair few videos over the next few weeks. To grow the Money Your Concern brand.
In fact, this is the perfect time to build this focus up, as right now nobody is watching it. Therefore, nobody can judge the not so great videos I am creating right now. This seems like the best time to make all of my mistakes and learn to produce better content for you, the viewer.
So to begin this endeavour, I wrote scripts for both month 2 and 3 of my £1 a day challenge progression straight after work. I intend to get up early to do the recordings tomorrow morning before the end of week 13. I plan to do this the same way as before, because I still feel awkward about it, but that’s OK.
To complete today’s £1 goal, I was fortunate enough to pass on a highly paying survey. This took no longer than 25 minutes to complete. So along with a search reward, today’s earnings were 205 SB’s (£1.60).
Day 91: Recording The Audio
So as promised to myself, I got up at 5 am this morning and drove to the same quiet car park as previous recordings. I then followed my scripts and recorded the audio for months 2 and 3 of my progression. Although there wasn’t anybody there apart from the odd dog walker and car driving past, I still felt awkward. But I think it’s getting better, and I’m definitely starting to feel more confident with each recording. I suppose facing these fears is a progression and it will get easier with time. But in the meantime, I sucked it up, got on with it. Now have another set of audio recordings.
All I need to do now is edit both of these before the end of next week and I will be caught up. Then I plan continue on weekly from this week. Would you like to keep updated on where my progress is going with this? You may like to subscribe to the Money Your Concern YouTube channel.
After work today, I was working between, editing the 2nd months progression video and completing my £1 goal with Swagbucks. This goal unfortunately took a while, due to being declined by a fair few surveys. However, after being successful with a couple, I eventually earned 176 SB’s (£1.37) for around 90 minutes of on and off work.
