Week 29: Over time, hopefully you’ll see me progress despite having a 9-5+ manual job. I hope sharing this may help somebody.
Day 197: Welcome to week 29!!
Welcome to week 29 of the £1 a day challenge. This is the challenge where I try to escape the boring 9-5 rat race with little previous business experience. I start from the simplest step of making at least £1 a day online, with no excuses.
To pass this challenge today, I used a survey site called Swagbucks. Here there are plenty of surveys and other activities you can complete to make money online. Today I completed 3 surveys to make 129 Swagbucks points (£1.01) in just under an hour.
I do plan to progress this goal. For it to become passive and to grow from £1 to something much more significant each day. So this week, I plan to really progress my affiliate marketing prospects. I have a few ideas…
But first, I must create last week’s update content, to keep you updated with my journey and what I learn about business and investing.
Today I wrote up the week 28 update for the Blog section of this website. I share my journey of discovering ways to make more money with affiliate marketing. This is so my amazon associates account doesn’t get discontinued in two months time…
A video update of this, along with the best details learned will follow tomorrow…
Day 198: Video Update
After passing the £1 goal with Swagbucks this morning, I got straight onto editing the week 28 video update on YouTube. This week I go through my challenge of needing to make 3 affiliate commissions or my account will be discontinued.
I discuss how I need to be innovative and think of ways I can increase traffic and make sure I get these 3 commissions. You can check out the video below if you like. Let me know what you think…
Day 199: More Book Reviews.
Today I got up early to write up a couple more book reviews. Again, I give my honest opinion on the best business and investing books I’ve read and then add an Amazon affiliate link at the bottom. The more posts I create like this at the moment, hopefully, the more likely I am to get new people to purchase through the link.
The one book I really recommend you read from today’s posts is The Happiness Advantage. This book is revolutionary and will change your mindset completely when it comes to business and life in general.
Other than this, I once again used Swagbucks to earn £1 today online. It took me about 50 minutes to complete 3 surveys to earn 129 SB’s (£1.01).
Day 200: Patience is a virtue…
Wow, so 200 days since I first began this challenge.
I wish I could say I accomplished more to date but I need to realise that this is a marathon, not a sprint. I need to be patient if I want to accomplish my dream of financial freedom.
If I get too judgemental and get frustrated with any slow progress I will eventually lose passion and will eventually burn out. So I’ll continue to work hard and stay patient.
Eventually, I know I will help a lot of people with this brand and the £1 a day challenge.
Day 201: Audiobooks
I’ve had a really busy weekend, so I haven’t been able to achieve much. Although, it’s nice to get a little time away every now and then, to reset the mind.
However, I have been reading another couple of audiobooks about social media marketing and Facebook ads. I intend to write up more book reviews for those soon. So you can see if these books might be beneficial to you too.
In terms of taking action, all I achieved was Swagbucks. I completed surveys over the course of an hour to earn 138 Swagbucks points (£1.08).
Day 202: Busy At Work
Busy day at work, so all I had time for was to complete the £1 a day challenge with Swagbucks. Completing surveys, I earned 128 SB’s (£1.00) in just under an hour.
Day 203: Work is Crazy…
Ah man, work was crazy again today. It’s super frustrating like this. I’m trying my best to build something to get me out of this work for money lifestyle. Yet the work is taking so much time and is draining me so I can’t get to doing the business work I intend to.
But work won’t always be like this so I’ll keep persevering and use the best opportunities I get to keep progressing this £1 a day challenge.
Speaking of which, I did scrape together enough time to make £1 once again using Swagbucks. Today, it took me 40 minutes to make 133 Swagbucks points by completing surveys.
Week 29:
So that was week 29 of the £1 a day challenge. I managed to get some more book reviews done, meaning a couple more affiliate links. You can check these new ones out in the Learn More and Further Learning sections on this website.
Other than that, I really struggled to make a lot of progress this week due to work. Working as a builder is physically draining and time consuming.
I hope if you are reading this and have barriers of a high workload stopping you from starting in online business. I hope this shows you that you can make it work if you really want too.
You just need to find the best chances to get work done. Even if that means getting up a few hours and working on your business before work.
Over time, hopefully you’ll see me progress despite having a 9-5+ manual job. I hope sharing this may help somebody.
Thanks for checking out another week of the £1 a day challenge…
