Week 16: Using YouTube To Progress My Brand

Week 16: Using YouTube To Progress My Brand

Week 16: I need to stick at this even when progress is slow at the moment. But to avoid burnout, I think I need to be smart and do this sustainably.

Day 106: Not the best start to week 16

Today, I had a long day at work. Then I had to finish up the editing of the week 14, £1 a day challenge update, then prepare for my audio recordings I plan to do in the morning.

This left me with not much time. Leaving me to frantically go for every survey I found so that I can pass today’s £1 online goal. I got declined by the best paying ones, so I had to take what I could get. Eventually I got over the mark but not without wasting nearly 90 minutes of my time. Today’s earnings were 129 SB’s (£1.01).

Not the best start to week 16…

Day 107: Uploading the week 15 video…

My survey experience went much easier today with Swagbucks. After work, I managed to complete 3 well paying surveys to pass my £1 mark. Along with a couple of search rewards, today I earned 148 SB’s (£1.15) for less than 50 minutes of work.

After this, I edited and uploaded the week 15 update video on YouTube to keep up with posting these on Thursdays. If you like, you can check this video out here.

Day 108: Creating More YouTube Videos

I’m afraid today is a little repetitive as the last few. I completed enough surveys after work to earn 142 SB’s (£1.11). This morning, before work and after work, I focused on completing a couple more YouTube videos.

The channel is starting to build out more into what I imagined it to be. I also think my videos are slowly improving. So I’m looking forward to seeing how progress goes with this over the coming weeks and months!!

Day 109: The Busiest Day of Week 16

I had a busy day today but I managed to scrape in enough time to reach the £1 mark online. Again, I achieved this through Swagbucks surveys. With a quick session in the morning, then in the evening, I completed 4 surveys to earn 138 SB’s (£1.08). This took around 1 hour in total to complete.

Day 110: Creating More YouTube Videos

Fortunately, today was the 5th of the month, so It was the day that I get my monthly bonus from Swagbucks. So with this and a couple of search rewards, today I earned 210 SB’s (£1.64) for barely any work at all. This was a nice break from taking surveys to be honest.

The rest of the day, I made the most of the extra free time to edit two more YouTube videos. By the time you read this, they will be available to watch on the Money Your Concern channel. These two are my video versions of ‘Can You Own A Business As An Introvert?’ Also, ‘5 Reasons To Start Investing ASAP’. I hope you enjoy the videos and find them useful.

It takes a lot of work to put each video out. However, I am enjoying the process and it’s motivating to see at least some people are beginning to watch my content. I suppose it’s these little boosts that keep us going through the challenging things in life…

Day 111: Avoiding Burnout

Again I used Swagbucks surveys today to reach my £1 goal after work. After around 1 hour I had made 128 SB’s (£1.00) to pass today’s goal.

I was feeling pretty drained after work today and I’d been working super hard lately with this website and the YouTube channel. So I decided to chill out and take the rest of today off. The last thing I want is to burn out in a few months. Then I will miss out on helping many people before this brand gets real recognition.

I need to stick at this even when progress is slow at the moment. But to avoid burnout, I think I need to be smart and do this sustainably. Even though it’s hard work,  I’m trying to enjoy this process as much as I can.

Day 112: Creating My Dream Follower…

I had enough time this morning before work to pass my £1 a day challenge goal. I managed to complete 3 surveys in just under an hour. As along with this and a couple of search rewards throughout the day, today I earned 158 SB’s (£1.23).

So I had the whole evening to aim to progress my future online business prospects.

Firstly, I focused on writing up another post for the website. This is another book review so that I can put out another opportunity to make some online income through affiliate marketing. You will likely find the book review for ‘The Intelligent Investor’ shortly in the Further Learning section.

Then, I focused on creating scripts and preparing to record more audio for my next upcoming YouTube Videos. I plan to put out as many videos as I can over the coming weeks, to really build a solid position on there. YouTube will help to build the reach of the Money Your Concern Brand. It will also allow me to better help the viewers who find more value from consuming content in video format.

Lastly this evening, I remembered something I’d read from Russel Brunson. How he spoke about when trying to reach a certain group of people, you should try to write down your dream customer. He said to be as specific as possible and even give the person a hypothetical name, to make it more personnel.

So I gave this a go…

My dream follower is Arnold.

He is 22 years old and has always had difficulty keeping on top of his money problems. He wants to do more with his life, to better support himself and his family and get out of the rut of having to work countless hours just to pay his rent and food. Arnold is keen to learn how to do this, he just doesn’t know where to start.

It’s the people like Arnold, (and of course everybody else) who I really want to help. Out of curiosity, let me know in the comments if you feel like you identify with Arnold in some way.

So this concludes week 16…

So thanks for your support by following week 16 of the £1 a day challenge. I hope you found it useful. If you are keen to try out the challenge yourself, let us know in the comments.

I really hope we can build a community around this. Where we can help each other out to achieve our financial goals and get rid of our money issues. Financial struggles are something that nobody should have to deal with. We just need to make money our concern and educate ourselves to deal with it!!

To follow the £1 a journey, you can either keep up with the Blog section of this website or through the £1 a day challenge playlist of the Money Your Concern YouTube channel.

All the best with your financial future.

Harry
