Week 9: However, I want to provide the best value I can and therefore, expanding my content to Youtube is a must. So I need to take a leaf out of my own book and just get started!!
Day 57: Start of week 9
The start of week 9 of the £1 a day challenge isn’t a super eventful one. I’m using my free time currently to analyse stocks, ready to buy once they reach a good price. I think this is the best use of my time right now, financially. This is currently taking up all of my time after work which leaves me the morning to earn my £1 online to pass my daily goal.
Swagbucks went smoothly this morning. Two well paying surveys were awaiting me, which took no more than 50 minutes to complete. Along with my search rewards earned later on in the evening, today I earned 144 SB’s.
Day 58: Nearly There…
I’m almost there now with my stock market analysis. After work today I analysed 30 more stocks in the FTSE 250 index; Leaving me with just 60 left. I know this means I’m not able to report any exciting business news right now but I hope I can make up for it with the stock market knowledge I can report back to you in future. I have already created a few stock market posts I am excited to share with you. It is a 3 step series I will release for 3 days in a row about the key tips you must learn to become a successful investor in the stock market. Once they are up and running you can find a link to the first post of the series here.
I couldn’t find any well paying surveys this morning so I had to flick back and forth to Swagbucks within my stock market research time. In the end I had to make do with completing 6 poorly paying surveys, which wasted a lot of time. In total, these took me around 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete including the rejected ones. This is super annoying. I made a promise to myself that I have to commit to this challenge so i’m pleased to have gotten it done in the end. I can’t wait until I can progress my Business into other forms of income.
Day 59: Continuing On…
I managed to get my daily goal completed quickly this morning thanks to one nice paying survey. After the one well paying survey, accompanied by my search rewards throughout today, I made 137 SB’s (£1.07) from no more than 45 minutes of work.
Once again I spent the rest of today working through the FTSE 250 index, trying to find the best UK stock market investment opportunities I can. I think I should complete this task by tomorrow.
Day 60: Stock Market Analysis Complete
I finally managed to complete my short analysis of the 350 largest public companies in the UK. In total, it took me around 30 hours to complete but I have gained a lot of knowledge in the process. Not only did it help me to find what I believe to be of the best value of the larger UK stocks It also picked up certain trends between sectors and companies in general. I feel it will make me a better and more knowledgeable investor as a whole.
So with the 63 most promising stocks I saw, I now plan to pick my favourite 10-15 to have on a watch list to buy when they are of a good value. Each individual stock I look to buy will also be in a different sector, to help diversify my portfolio. I hope to share with you my ideas on some of these stock picks in future, to give you an idea of how to select good companies to invest in. You can find my investing information on the Investing section of the Money Your Concern website.
In between the final hours of my stock market analysis, I flicked back and forth onto my Swagbucks account. I found one well paying survey to complete in the morning and then a couple of smaller ones throughout the day. In total, today I earned 129 SB’s (£1.01) for around 1 hour of work on Swagbucks.
Day 61: Some better news today…
Being the weekend, surveys were fairly hard to come by today. There weren’t many well paying ones available so today’s challenge consisted of completing the best surveys available throughout the day to pass my £1 goal. In total, I attempted around 10 surveys. I eventually passed 4 surveys to complete today’s £1 a day challenge; Earning 128 Sb’s (£1.00) for about 1 hour and 15 minutes of work.
Some better news today though. It seems that Google is indexing some of my posts now. Not all of them but it seems that all it needed was some patience. Now I know the posts I create are more likely to be seen, I can now look to post as regularly as possible again. This will mainly include financial information you can find in the personal finance and investing sections of this website. I hope these posts will be of use to you and will help you improve your own financial journey.
Day 62: Check Out My First Post Back!!
I couldn’t find any well paying surveys today. Swagbucks was a total nightmare. All I saw all day were low paying surveys of which I got rejected for all but one. So I had to use a trick up my sleeve…
I had another 100 SB rebate for my next points withdrawal from the latest Swagbucks team event win. This was just about enough to get me past my daily goal. In total today’s earnings were 130 SB’s, or around £1.01 for an hour’s worth of effort.
On a more positive note, now that my site is being indexed, I can now start uploading more posts again. You can check out today’s post, “Should You In Vest In Cryptocurrency?” here. From here on, I aim to post new content most days.
Day 63: Youtube…
Swagbucks took a fair bit of work to complete after work today. Again, well paying surveys were few and far between. So I ended up completing today’s challenge in bits as I waited for the best paying surveys to pop up. Eventually, by 10 PM I had completed 4 surveys to pass my £1 challenge. Today’s earnings were 141 SB’s (£1.15) for around 90 minutes of effort.
In between surveys, I was working on finally getting together ideas to start the Youtube portion of the Money Your Concern brand. There I will give a weekly update in presentation form every week along with investing and business knowledge as I go into more detail on certain aspects.
I’m excited but nervous to get this started. Excited as I think it will be a better way to connect with you in a different way. For those who prefer visual and audible learning, I may be able to provide a better learning experience on that platform. However, it makes me a little nervous as I’ll have to talk which will be more personal and less anomalous. However, I want to provide the best value I can and therefore, expanding my content to Youtube is a must. So I need to take a leaf out of my own book and just get started!!
That concludes week 9 of my £1 a day challenge…
